A court case first found back in January following a New Years Eve bust has people talking. According to the case, the Department of Justice has unveiled charges against a Georgian national and it gets far worse from there.

The Lowdown

The man per the DOJ docket has been identified as Michail Chkhikvishvili. In the sprawling indictment out of the Eastern District of New York, prosecutors claim that Michail targeted racial minorities including children on New Years Eve earlier this year with the intent to poison and kill them using candy.

He did so dressed as Santa.

According to the same investigation, the man is believed to be a member of a group called ‘The Maniac Murder Cult’ an international extremist group that is known to target racial minorities and stoke racial divisions.
