A shocking CNN investigation has laid bare Airbnb ‘s widespread hidden camera problem

For many the rule of thumb when traveling is well scope out the place you’re headed into. For Airbnb renters this has been a wonder for many years and now an investigation by CNN has revealed a staggering number of complaints.

The Lowdown

According to CNN, since about two thousand thirteen Airbnb has received about 35k complaints related to hidden or obsecured cameras. Many people are probably familiar with how this works as some online complaints about the same issue revealed rather strange locations these cameras have been found.

In the same investigation, CNN discovered that a huge number of these situations were resolved out of court though many of them included iron clad nondisclosure agreements.
