Target is set to no longer accept this payment method beginning 15 July

Target is set to make a big change to its payment policies beginning later this month. According to the retailer, the aging form of payment also known as a personal check is being phased out.

The Lowdown

According to the retailer, Target will stop accpeting personal checks as a form of payment in about a week’s time. The change comes as numerous retailers including Whole Foods and Aldi have already completely banned such payment. Payments by personal checks are typically used by older Individuals and have become a relic of sorts among those younger.
