A shocking scam has been unraveled in Florida. According to reports, Austin was arrested following a months-long undercover operation by police that began in October. Police seized nearly eight hundred items totaling $2m worth of bogus goods from her store on Worth Avenue, a wealthy shopping district in Palm Beach one of two stores belonging to the alleged fraudster.

The con reportedly included fake Chanel earrings sold for five hundred dollars; a fake Pucci dress for roughly the same amount, and a Van Cleef bracelet which usually retails for upwards of twenty thousand dollars also being sold for approximately the same price. Store associates at the time of the investigation told undercover officers that the items were real, however, reports indicate that Pucci itself confirmed the dress in question indeed is a fake.
