Sad news tonight as the NYPD seeks the help of the public to identify the man they say abused in a Queens park.
The Lowdown
According to reports, on Thursday at Kissena Park in Queens a 13-year-old girl was the victim of an attack by an unidentified male. Police said during a press conference that the attack happened after the man approached the young girl and her friend and demanded they go to a wooded area of the park, he was armed during the attack with a machete-style blade.
He is described as a light-skinned male and Hispanic in his twenties. Anyone with information is asked to telephone the NYPD.
