The Princess of Wales will be out of the public eye for a while. According to Kensington Palace, the Princess underwent a planned abdominal surgery and will not return to public engagements until at least Easter.
A planned surgical operation appears to have gone well for Kate. According to reports, the Palace confirmed the news yesterday in an effort to quell any speculation about why she may be out of the public eye for a while.
“Her Royal Highness The Princess of Wales was admitted to The London Clinic yesterday for planned abdominal surgery,” Kensington Palace said in a statement Wednesday.
