Partial tentative deal reached to end historic Hollywood strikes 🚨

At least in terms of contract negotiations with WGA. According to other reports, however, SAG-AFTRA has not quite reached that level of progress in negotiations.

If reports are to be believed there may be new progress in Hollywood to end the months-long strikes that have brought Tinsel Town to a standstill. CNN reports that after several days of up-and-down discussions over negotiations — a deal is almost imminent. The network notes, however, that Hollywood can’t fully get moving again until SAG also reaches a deal.

It has now been reported that a tentative deal has in fact been reached but negotiations remain ongoing. A finalized deal with the WGA is expected.
