Gymnastics star Simone Biles is headed back to competition for the first time in two years. According to a statement, Biles will compete in the upcoming U.S Classic in August later this year.
In a statement on Wednesday, USA Gymnastics confirmed the news sparking excitement on social media.
“Led by a trio of Olympic gold medalists, current athlete registrations for the 2023 US Classic are loaded with Olympians, World Championships team members and international medalists,” the statement reads.
