According to information made available, the funeral for rapper Takeoff who was murdered in Houston earlier this month is set for Friday. Funeral arrangements are understood to be taking place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
The service will be officiated by Pastor Jesse Curney III of New Mercies Christian Church in Lilburn.
Arrangements are set to begin Friday morning and into the afternoon. The arena can hold up to 20,000 attendees according to what we could find on the internet about the State Farm Arena.
Takeoff was murdered in Houston while attending a night out of fun at a bowling alley in the area. At this time an arrest for his murder has not been made. Takeoff was best known as a member of the hip-hop collective Migos — who would go on to become a successful rap group throughout the last decade.
