As the legal woes and troubles for former American leader Donald Trump continue to mount so do his bizarre offers to those convicted in relation to 6th January. According to the AP, Trump has this week been quoted as revealing for the first time that he has been financially supporting some of the very defendants involved in the crime(s.)
“We’ll be looking very, very seriously at full pardons” for those convicted in the attack on the Capitol, Trump said, the Insider reports. This may be the first mention of financial support but it is not the first time Trump has floated such an idea. In the same breath, Trump also claimed that some of his lawyers are actively working on some of the cases involved in this situation.
