Like most “governments” in the world the Taliban are no different from others lying to their people and their citizens. According to an announcement today over in Afghanistan, all women and girls are required once again to wear burkas at all times in public. The ministry of vice and virtue maintains that such is a “safety” measure but critics aren’t having it. It is reminiscent of the terror cell ‘s previous rule over the country, whereas, they forcibly made such a mandate almost impossible to live with.
Reuters reports that women caught in public without a burka will see their father or closest male relative get a visit from government officials. At that point they will face imprisonment or job terminations within the tightly controlled unofficial Taliban led Afghanistan.
Despite international calls to do so, the terror cell has yet to reopen schools to girls and females above the age of 6.
