A shocking new testimony from former Trump white house officials who now say Meadows knew more than he’d currently like to admit. According to Cassidy Hutchinson, a special assistant in what was the Trump White House, there were legitimate concerns about the safety of the Capitol on the day of the attacks. Hutchinson testified before the committee investigating the attacks that Meadows was shown and informed of intel reports that suggested violence was coming and had been coming fast.

“I just remember Mr. Ornato coming in and saying that we had intel reports saying that there could potentially be violence on the 6th,” Hutchinson said, presumably referencing Anthony Ornato, a senior Secret Service official. “And Mr. Meadows said: ‘All right. Let’s talk about it.’”

The full extent of Meadows knowledge of the attacks isn’t entirely known however is becoming increasingly under scrutiny by Washington officials.
