Chef, 40, who appeared on Food Network ‘s “Chopped” arrested on suspicion of raping a child

Shocking news for the Food Network today. According to police reports obtained in Teaneck New Jersey, Shalom ‘Sal’ Yehudiel, 40, has been arrested on suspicions of sexually assaulting a child under 16 multiple times. But his alleged misdeeds don’t stop there — he was previously sued by two women with similar claims the year prior. He was first reported to police in N.J in November though an investigation had to be completed into the stunning allegations.

It is understood that he is married with children according to information we could find online. He presently has two restaurants in Jersey called  The Humble Toast and La Cucina Di Nava. 

Shalom 'Sal' Yehudiel, 40, is accused of sexually assaulting a child in Teaneck, New Jersey. The alleged crime was reported to Bergen County prosecutors in November last year, around the same time as two women sued him

In another instance, a woman sued him last year after claiming she was raped in the bathroom when he forced her to perform oral on him inside of the Humble Toast. The woman maintained in her formal charge against him that she was 17 when she worked at his restaurant and was assaulted.

At the time of the initial allegations, he maintained that the two women were trying to extort him.
