A 4th Latin country has decriminalized abortion

As America ‘s own abortion rights are under attack by the extreme right, much of South America appears to be going the opposite direction. According to news reports in Colombia, the country’s political branch has lifted all criminal penalties that otherwise would’ve been normally associated with abortion. Abortions are now allowed up to 24 weeks into the pregnancy of any woman.
