Barry Manilow would like people to know that he has no intention of removing his music from Spotify. According to reports, the music icon confirmed the news on Friday following numerous internet rumours that he would follow in the footsteps of Neil Young. Neil Young famously had his music pulled from the platform earlier this week after the network sided with Joe Rogan and his COVID-19 misinformation campaign often seen and heard on his show.
“I recently heard a rumor about me and Spotify.” the 78-year-old Brooklyn native tweeted Friday. “I don’t know where it started, but it didn’t start with me or anyone who represents me.”
