Disastrous Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio has reportedly lost his bid to get out of jail early. Tarrio is infamously one of many leaders of the Proud Boys Organisation (a far right American terrorist organisation seeking to sow racial tensions and wars.)
The Guardian reports that Tarrio had previously made complaints to the judge in his case that he was living in squalor like conditions. The judge presiding over the case, however, decided the solution wasn’t too free Tarrio but to improve conditions for all inmates.
“I’ve been to jail before and what I’ve seen here, I’ve never seen anywhere else,” Tarrio, appearing in DC Superior Court via video, told the judge. “It’s insane. It’s a gulag.”
