American R&B singer SZA was among performers at this weekend’s Astroworld festival. In what should’ve been a fun night for many, instead, it turned into a deadly stampede that left hundreds injured and a reported 8 people dead. SZA who performed before any of this actually happened released a statement early Sunday via social media acknowledging the horrifying events that unfolded as Travis Scott continued to perform despite pleas for the show to be halted.
