In an expected move by some — Jamie Spears father of pop legend Britney Spears is no longer the head of her conservatorship. According to a statement released by Spears, he maintains that he did nothing wrong but no longer wanted to be associated with the attacks against his character.
In court documents, obtained by TMZ, his lawyers write: ‘There are, in fact, no actual grounds for suspending or removing M. Spears as the Conservator of the Estate … and it is highly debatable whether a change in conservator at this time would be in Ms. Spears’ best interests.
But many including what is understood to be Britney herself are also pushing for separate investigations into the allegations against Mr Spears.
