The battle over Britney ‘s fortune and her life is poised to rage on. According to reports, documents obtained now show that Britney Spears herself has requested that the judge in her case remove her father for good. Documents reportedly reveal that Spears’ personally made the request and would rather have Jodi Montgomery preside over her affairs — though she does want the right to cancel the conservatorship at any time.
“Petitioner has requested the resignation of the current conservator of her person, James P. Spears, who temporarily relinquished his powers effective as of September 9, 2019,” the filing reads, according to Variety. “The within petition requests his replacement by Jodi Pais Montgomery, who has acted as temporary conservator of her person since that date.”
