TJ Ducklo is out of a job. Days after it was revealed that Ducklo had threatened a Politico reporter over a story she was going to write — he has resigned. That story reportedly involved a romantic and intimate connection Ducklo has with another journalist believed to be within the press pool.
We accepted the resignation of TJ Ducklo after a discussion with him this evening,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said in a statement. “This conversation occurred with the support of the White House chief of staff.” reads a statement per CNN.
The problem started when journalist Tara Palmeri discovered that Ducklo is dating an Axios reporter which would’ve technically created a conflict of interest when covering the Biden Administration.
