Just two days after a series of sudden subway slashings had New York City on edge it appears that the culprit has now been arrested. According to the NYPD, Rigoberto Lopez, 21, has been arrested and charged in the case with at least one count of murder and numerous counts of attempted murder.
Lopez on Friday randomly stabbed multiple people along the A line beginning in Inwood (aka Washington Heights) a popular neighborhood in Manhattan. Lopez is believed to have been struggling with his mental health and was among New York City ‘s homeless population.
