American reality star Paris Hilton took to the stand in Utah this week to testify about the bizarre abuse she endured as a teenager. That abuse not at the hands of anyone other than those at the Provo Canyon School.
As Hilton previously revealed, she was sent to the school at age 17 for about 11 months for reasons that were never quite made public (although one can infer it was to get her life together.) While at the school Hilton says she was subjected to physical; emotional, and literal abuse. Abuse she admitted during her testimony that ranged from being physically beat to being forced to into solitary confinement with no clothes.
“Talking about something so personal was and is still terrifying,” Hilton told the committee. “But I cannot go to sleep at night knowing that there are children that are experiencing the same abuse that I and so many others went through, and neither should you.” Hilton, 39
