4G lunar towers are apparently headed to space but common sense says — what could possibly go wrong.? According to UPI, NASA has awarded Nokia a $14.1m contract to bring 4G/LTE service to space in a first for mankind. The cell towers or those similar wouldn’t just be in space they would particularly be on the moon.
Eventually per the site — NASA hopes to install 5G like towers on the moon enabling lunar communications from a far greater distance than ever before. However —- it goes without saying that if there are species further along in space or perhaps near the moon that we have not yet discovered —- one might think twice.
With recent news of phosphine found near Venue — it leaves one to wonder what exactly else may be up there in space. NASA officials should trek carefully considering we don’t even know who or what is up there and whether or not cell phone towards would almost inevitably enable communications with them.
