Because of a government cap related to the Coronavirus — Aussies abroad are feeling abandoned and betrayed by their own government leaders. According to reports, Australians by the droves are stranded overseas because only 4,000 international travellers a week are allowed into the country.
The cap was first introduced by Scott Morrison as the country initially had a Coronavirus crisis quickly unfolding over the summer. It remains unclear when Morrison ‘s government may attempt to actually lift that rule.
