The White House spend its Sunday clamouring among talk-show circuits apparently ready to announce that the FDA is prepared to approve the use of a new form of plasma treatment. USA Today reports that the FDA has approved the use of convalescent plasma as treatment for COVID-19, er, but like most things out of the White House many are consequentially skeptical

FDA officials appeared on Face The Nation on Sunday already throwing cold water on the claim. Little does Trump actually know — convalescent treatment (plasma) for COVID-19 has long already existed.
