In a confession that most people already knew — rapper Megan Thee Stallion confirmed on Thursday night that Tory Lane is in fact the person who shot her. On Instagram Live, Megan confirmed the news amid reports that Lanez is set to face a series of assault charges over the shooting.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department and the District Attorney’s office, Lanez is set to face a series of assault charges if officials decide to pursue them. It remains unclear whether or not Megan herself is assisting police in pursuing charges, although they appear to be set to make a decision themselves.
It remains unclear whether or not Lanez could face deportation to Canada in the case.
