Disturbing developments tonight as it has emerged that Army officials do in fact believe that the remains found this week are that of missing Vanessa Guillen. But that isn’t actually all of the development and it gets worse from here.
According to officials, one of the suspects believed to have been involved in her disappearance in fact has died. Confirmations emerged on Wednesday evening that the unidentified suspect was found dead from an apparent suicide just hours after the original discovery of the human remains near the lake.
ABC 13 reports that another suspect in her disappearance, the civilian wife of another soldier has been arrested in connection to the whole situation. A medical examiners report is pending to determine whether or not the remains are actually that of Guillen.
