In advertising boycott of #Facebook, we’ve decided against advertising on their platform

As we’ve noted before (our increased readership and size) we’ve also considered finally advertising. However —- in our quest to determine how and in what way we may advertise we’ve opted not to consider Facebook or Instagram.

We’ve made this decision not only because of Facebook ‘s poor decisions regarding content and such — but also because Facebook has allowed so many lies and deceitful pieces of content regarding black lives to go viral on its platform.

As a black owned and fully operated we do not in any form tolerate racism or hateful content of any kind. We have always tried our best to moderate comments and posts that may be questionably racist or flat-out racist. We have traditionally distanced ourselves from brands; advertisers, and networks that otherwise are problematic.
