Rents across the U.S are tumbling as people skip out on criminally-expensive cities

It’s like a dream come true for some and could most certainly usher in a new era when it comes to housing for all in America. According to several reports, some of the biggest and most expensive U.S cities are seeing steep declined in citywide rents as residents are learning they can work remotely instead of in an office.

Alike many companies, businesses across the U.S were greenlighting remote work. opportunities as people take in the next phase of life under COVID-19. As a result of those opportunities cities like San Francisco have been as much as a 9% decline in rents.

It’s like a magical dream come true for some.

Cities like Boston; New York, and Los Angeles are also seeing rent declines some as little as .9% others as high as 3% within their own right. While it may seem like bad news for landlords, it otherwise could spell good news for people largely looking for an affordable home.
