WH Advisor: U.S Unemployment rate could continue to soar through the 2020 November elections

As many Americans continue to struggle with the grim reality of unemployment — those within the White House have apparently come to a bleak realization. According to CNN ‘s State of the Union, Kevin Hassett (a WH adviser) revealed to the network that this month’s unemployment rate is likely set to be even higher than the last.

“Yes, it’s going to be quite a bit higher,” he said, citing some technical miscalculations. “But it could be, if they fix the numbers and fix the thing that they mischaracterized last time, that you will end up with a number north of 20 percent in May.”
