Which could seem a little bizarre considering AOC is an open advocate for raising taxes on others. According to reports, the congresswoman reportedly owes $2k in unpaid taxes from a failed business venture dating back several years ago.

A New York Post investigation found via public records that AOC apparently had some sort of publishing house about 6 or so years ago. That publishing house was actually aimed at helping the Bronx be painted in a positive light in children ‘s books, but for whatever reason it never fully came to be.
Reps for AOC maintain (per the Post) that the taxes are still being collected in error and that the tax warrant is being challenged.
