New York has extended its lockdown until 29 April

Per the orders of Governor Cuomo it appears New York will have to weave its way through a few more weeks of the now ongoing Coronavirus lockdown. According to Cuomo ‘s latest press conference, the lockdown will now be extended past 29 April.

Furthermore, it appears the authorities have now been given the green light to ramp up arrests for those violating social distancing rules. Cuomo confirmed on Monday that the price tag for violations has now risen to $1,000.
