[UPDATED] Woman, in her 30’s, returns to NYC from Iran — healthcare worker tests positive for coronavirus.

MANHATTAN — Reports are out this evening confirming the inevitable. New York City has its first case of the coronavirus involving a 30 something young woman who apparently recently returned from Iran.

No further information about the woman has been released, however, we have confirmed that she lives in the city and is believed to live somewhere between midtown and 59th street.

EDITORS UPDATE: We’ve since learned that the woman along with her husband got the virus ???? in Iran. Both presumed to be healthcare workers, he is also believed to be positive.

According to the governor, the woman recently returned from Iran. The government refused to reveal where she had been; what she touched, subway or taxi, and whom she came into contact with.
