[THIS JUST IN] – A patient in Washington State has died from the coronavirus

Big news on the coronavirus front as America now has its first coronavirus related death. According to state health officials, the unidentified individual died in the medical centre in Kirkland Washington.

This is the first known death in America. Alike many other countries at this point the cases could potentially soar.

“It is a sad day in our state as we learn that a Washingtonian has died from COVID-19,” Gov. Jay Insee said in a statement Saturday. “Our hearts go out to his family and friends. We will continue to work toward a day where no one dies from this virus.”
