News Brief: Rockets smash into US embassy in Baghdad amid violent standoff with Iran

BAGHDAD — Interrupting the coverage of our Grammys viewing tonight, we bring you the news of a reported rocket attack on the US embassy in Baghdad. According to what we’ve learned, a series of rocket attacks hit the embassy earlier this evening.

The area has been a hot-bed for rocket attacks in recent weeks as conflicts in the area reach new heights. We’re told that there are no reported casualties at this time. Sunday marks the first known attempt at a hit directly on the embassy.
