Turns out Variety was right in declaring that the Grammy ‘s would be absent Taylor Swift. Initially, it was reported without official reason that Swift would not be performing at the ceremony. Fast forward to about an hour ago, and it emerged t hat Swift would not be performing or even attending at all.
The reason? Multiple reports are now out stating that Swift bowed out in support of ousted President Deborah Dugan. Dugan was recently let go from her position amid claims that she tried to air out long suspected sexual assault at the hands of the men within the academy.
