LOS ANGELES — Reports have confirmed that American basketball legend Kobe Bryant is dead. According to TMZ, Bryant died over Calabasas when his private helicopter crashed after a fire broke out.
The fire reportedly broke out amid heavy smog according to police.
His wife Vanessa was not on board although there were at least five others. Nobody survived according to multiple reports and authorities. Reports have now confirmed that Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna were both killed in the crash. They were reportedly heading to a basketball game.
He is survived by his four daughters and wife Vanessa.
