House to send impeachment articles this week: Nancy Pelosi

WASHINGTON — Big developments in the pending impeachment trial of Donald J. Trump. According to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, articles will be sent to the Senate next week triggering the beginning of what will either be complete chaos or the removal of Donald Trump from office.

“I have asked Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler to be prepared to bring to the Floor next week a resolution to appoint managers and transmit articles of impeachment to the Senate,” Pelosi wrote in a letter to Democratic House members.
