Which makes this Presidential season seem a little deja-vu. This week Bloomberg filed paperwork in Alabama just before the primary deadline formally announcing his candidacy for President. Several critics including one bushy-eyed op-ed in the New York Times have declared that Bloomberg is (“certainly”) a viable candidate to take on Donald Trump.

Bloomberg reports that Bloomberg himself (whom is the 9th richest person in the United States) filed the paperwork in a rushed manner in Alabama as of this morning. The paperwork indicates that he is going to run for President on the Democratic primary ballot.
