Welcome to Saturday — where in the past 3 or so weeks alone multiple people across America have been arrested for either plotting or actually comitting a mass shooting. Â And on this lovely Saturday, yet another has been arrested after allegedly texting his girlfriend that he had strong desires to commit a mass shooting.
Police in Daytona Beach were alerted to the following messages on Friday, believed to have been sent to his girlfriend according to Buzzfeed News. Â Wix allegedly told police during his arrest that he doesn’t own a firearm, however, is fascinated with mass shootings.
“I’d wanna break the world record for the longest ever confirmed kill” reads a text allegedly written by Tristan Wix to his girlfriend.
“A school is a weak target.. id be more likely to open fire on a large crowd of people from over 3 miles away.. I’d wanna break a world record for longest confirmed kill ever,” Wix wrote, according to the sheriff’s office.
