With the arrival of the Emmy ‘s campaign for the Marvelous Miss Maisel — Los Angeles aand its businesses decided to turn back time (quite literally).  Over the weekend, several businesses across the area decidedly took the idea to offer their services and items for just a few bucks, just like they would have had it actually been 1952.

For those that don’t watch the show, Miss Maisel is actually based during that period.   According to other reports — shoppers and those seeking to cash in on the deals apparently caused police to shut down a Chevron in Santa Monica due to the lines.

Humorously, LA’ers could even get a Pink’s hot dog for $.59; a hotel night for $40, and several other goodies.
