It’s that time of the year which means we hit different cities during the summer. While reviewing Airbnb rooms for a potential Atlanta trip, I discovered this ad that ironically appears to suggest that black people aren’t welcome in what is largely considered the Black Mecca of the South.
I did reach out to Airbnb who now says that they’re investigating the woman for discrimination. “We do not tolerate discrimination of any kind” reads a Twitter DM from the company itself.
It’s a shame that in 2019 this still exists.
