Jussie Smollett ‘s case headed to grand jury: Hot Scoop

It looks like Jussie Smollett ‘s hoax case is getting the grand jury treatment. TMZ is reporting that as of Monday Smollett ‘s “assault” case is headed to a grand jury for potential indictment. Police, perhaps, are still waiting for that “formal follow up interview” which Smollett still has not cooperated with.

As of this writing, police, still believe that Smollett paid the two Nigerian men originally questioned in the case. That belief emerged after the two men reportedly told police of where they bought the rope from (Ace Hardware in Chicago), and, how Smollett paid them upwards of $3,500.

We’ve been attempting to reach Smollett ‘s rep since Friday to no avail.
