rIf the case of Ethan Couch makes you sick, turn away now. According to reports, the famed affluenza teen (who was caught in Mexico after running away from Texas) is facing a pretty interesting dilemma per Texas law.  Experts say that Couch, who was a fugitive for some time, may get out of his punishment all together — thanks to a quirk in  Texas law.

The law is pretty shoddy, especially, for someone who killed four people while driving drunk. Per Texas law, because Couch’s case is still in the juvenile system he has two options: Be held until he is 19 in the juvenile system or have his case transferred to adult court whereas he will only face 120 days in jail if convicted of that infamous probation violation.
