RIO DI JANEIRO —. Interesting presidential developments in Brazil. According to the final poll results, Brazil, has elected its own version of Donald Trum — a far-right leaning politician known for his brash approach to politics and outlandish comments about almost everything.
Jair Bolsonaro, ehum, a former army guy won the election by a particular lead that his opponent failed to level himself. Bolsonaro is now the leader of a country deeply troubled with its own economy; crime, and overall government corruption. Brazil ‘s past president, whom is currently serving a prison term, was detained and arrested for unbelievable corruption earlier this year (and then there’s, of course, Dilma Rouseff).
Bolsonaro is notoriously known as the “Trump of the Tropics”.
