Ariana Grande and former fiancé Pete Davidson apparently couldn’t survive the death of Mac Miller. On Sunday, The Sun, revealed that the two had secretly split up — after weeks of arguments and “dark places” by Grande herself. The newspaper claims via confidential sources that Grande, who remained friends with Miller after their split, was “devastated by his death, and, Davidson just wasn’t there for her”.
“Ariana has been devastated and Pete couldn’t handle it,” insiders claimed. “She realized she needs a grown-up who can support her and that’s not him. They secretly split a week ago and she’s already moved out of the apartment.”
The two apparently have been at odds since Miller died in September, such a time, when Grande “entered a dark place” and needed “true friends and grown-ups there for her”. Apparently none of which included Pete Davidson in the same sentence. Insiders further claimed to the paper, that, Grande secretly visited Davidson on the SNL set on Saturday in hopes that she could “keep the break-up quiet but that obviously didn’t work out”.
Calls to Davidson’s rep were declined.
