NEW DELHI — Interesting news for one Salman Khan this week. According to Indian court officials, Khan has been acquitted on all charges related to a 2002 hit-and-run. The incident, reportedly occurred in Bombay, whereas local courts were unable to prove that Khan was drunk driving that fatal night.
The original case had hoped to charge Khan with “culpable homicide” but as years went on, perhaps, officials became aware that the prosecution presiding over the case “didn’t quite have it all together”. The hit-and-run killed one, and injured four.
