Asia Argento has been fired by X-Factor Italy: Reports

New reports out Monday confirm that Italian actress Asia Argento has been fired by bosses weeks after her sex-scandal erupted online.  Sources confirmed to the Hollywood Reporter that this season would be her last, and, she will not appear in any further promotional materials or  anything of the nature. 

THR notes that  most of the initial episodes have already been shot, which, means that viewers will still temporarily see her. A new judge, set to replace her, will be announced during X-Factor’s press conference in Milan.   

The press conference is confirmed for 5 September.
