The family of the late model “Zombie Boy” has a theory on how the beloved model and music-video star died. According to the family of Rick Genest, he, “may have leaned back to far on a balcony while smoking a cigg”.
Karim Leduc, his manager, had this say to multiple outlets including People Magazine.
. “He’s not someone who, we feel, would commit suicide. He’s not someone who would do something like that because he’s very thoughtful of others,” Leduc says. He had apparently been visiting his girlfriend in Montreal, when, he went out for a cigg but never returned.
His management company denied reports of a suicide, pending, a formal investigation into his death.
