Huge cuts are making their way through the troubled newsroom of the New York Daily News. According to parent company Tronc, 50% of the NYDN’s newsroom staff are headed out the door as the struggling company “aims its focus on digital news more than anything else”.

The Daily News, one of New York ‘s biggest newspapers, has single-handedly seen their revenues and visitorships drop by more than 22%. Since 2014. Former employees, however, haven’t taken the news lightly.
